How to watch the Premier League in Canada in 2026-27

Premier League football in Canada works differently from every other sport: one streaming service has it all, and no Canadian TV channel shows it. Here is the honest picture, including where IPTV does and does not fit.

How to watch the Premier League in Canada in 2026-27 (Wave IPTV Canada guide)

The short answer

  • Fubo is the only Canadian home of the Premier League in 2026-27, streaming all 380 matches, some in 4K.
  • No Canadian TV channel shows it, on any cable, satellite or IPTV package.
  • The season runs from August 21, 2026 to May 30, 2027.
  • A Saturday 3 p.m. UK kick-off is 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific.
  • IPTV is not a substitute for Fubo on this league. It is a cheaper way to get everything else.

Who has the Premier League rights in Canada?

Fubo, under a deal that runs through 2027-28. Every match streams live on Fubo in Canada, including the Saturday 3 p.m. UK games that are not televised in Britain.

The 3 p.m. blackout does not apply in Canada

In the UK, matches kicking off at 3 p.m. on Saturday are not broadcast live. That rule is British; in Canada, every match is available.

American and British coverage is not for Canadian viewers

NBC and Peacock in the US, and Sky and TNT in the UK, are licensed only for their own countries.

Two weeks a year when everything moves an hour

Britain and Canada change their clocks on different weekends in spring and autumn. In the week between, matches start an hour later (autumn) or earlier (spring) than usual in Canada. Saskatchewan, which never changes its clocks, shifts relative to the UK twice a year as well.

What does it cost?

Fubo's sports plan is roughly $30 a month, or about $290 for a year at regular rates, with promotions from time to time. It is the only official route for the Premier League in Canada.

The question nobody asks: what about everything else?

A football fan in Canada usually also wants the NHL, the Raptors, the CFL, the Champions League, the news and the family's shows. Paying for cable on top of Fubo is expensive. Pairing Fubo with a Wave IPTV plan at $80 a year for the Canadian channels costs far less than cable alone.

Setting up for Saturday mornings

  1. Subscribe to Fubo for the Premier League and install it on your TV or stick.
  2. Install your IPTV player for everything else; both live happily on a Fire TV or Google TV device.
  3. Use catch-up or Fubo's replays for the 4:30 a.m. Pacific kick-offs.

Five Canadian supporters, five setups

  • A Liverpool fan in Vancouver: Fubo for the 7 a.m. matches, Wave for the Canucks.
  • An Arsenal family in Brampton: Fubo plus Wave on two screens for cricket and Punjabi channels.
  • A Manchester United fan in Halifax: Fubo on Saturdays, Wave for the news and the Mooseheads.
  • A casual fan in Calgary: highlights only, no Fubo; Wave for Flames and Stampeders.
  • A Spurs supporter in Montreal: Fubo plus Wave for RDS and the Canadiens.

Who this is not for

If the Premier League is the only thing you watch, Fubo alone is the answer and you do not need an IPTV service.

Fubo is the licensed Canadian route. For IPTV services in general, see our legal explainer.
