The short answer
- TSN (English) and RDS (French) carry every CFL game in 2026, including the Grey Cup.
- Division semi-finals: Saturday, October 31. Division finals: Saturday, November 7.
- The 113th Grey Cup is Sunday, November 15 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, on TSN, CTV and RDS.
- CFL+ does not stream games in Canada; it is for fans abroad.
- 2026 is the last season of the current deal; a new Bell Media agreement starts in 2027, with DAZN taking Saturday nights.
Which channel is the CFL game on?
TSN holds the exclusive English-language rights in Canada and RDS the French rights, for every regular-season and playoff game and the Grey Cup. The Grey Cup is also simulcast on CTV.
TSN 1 to 5 are regional feeds, not five networks
TSN splits games across five regional feeds. On a busy day, two games air at once on different feeds, and which feed your province gets can vary. A lineup that carries all five removes the guesswork.
CFL+ is not the Canadian answer, despite the name
The league's free streaming platform serves international fans. Canadians trying to use it for live games will find them unavailable here.
The road to the Grey Cup
| Date | Round | Where to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday, October 31 | East and West semi-finals | TSN, RDS |
| Saturday, November 7 | East and West finals | TSN, RDS |
| Sunday, November 15 | 113th Grey Cup, McMahon Stadium, Calgary | TSN, CTV, RDS |
Kickoff times are confirmed by the league once matchups are set. Playoff Saturdays usually feature an afternoon game and an evening game, Eastern time.
What time does kickoff land where you live?
Canada changes its clocks on Sunday, November 1, between the semi-finals and the finals. Your app's guide follows your device clock, so set your device to your city and the listings take care of themselves. As a rule of thumb, a 6 p.m. Eastern kickoff is 3 p.m. in Vancouver, 4 p.m. in Calgary and Edmonton, 5 p.m. in Winnipeg and Regina, 7 p.m. in Halifax and 7:30 p.m. in St. John's.
What it costs to follow the playoffs
| Route | Approx. price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| TSN+ | About $30 a month or $250 a year | Every TSN game |
| Cable with TSN | $80+ a month | Everything on TV |
| Antenna | Free | The Grey Cup on CTV only |
| Wave IPTV, 1 month | $20 | TSN 1 to 5, RDS, CTV and the full lineup |
The playoffs and the Grey Cup fit inside a single month. A one-month Wave IPTV plan covers all three playoff weekends.
Following your own team from anywhere in Canada
CFL broadcasts on TSN are national, so a Riders fan who moved to Toronto or a Ticats fan in Vancouver sees the same games. That makes football one of the easiest sports to follow after a move. Our Regina, Hamilton and Winnipeg pages cover the local angle.
Watching the CFL in French on RDS
RDS carries French-language coverage of the CFL, with the Alouettes front and centre. It is part of every Wave IPTV plan.
What changes for the CFL in 2027
A new six-year Bell Media agreement begins next season. TSN and RDS remain the main homes, but DAZN takes Saturday night games. If you follow every week, you may need both from 2027; we will update this guide when schedules are published.
Be set up before the semi-finals
- Start the free trial this week to test on your TV.
- Add TSN 1 to 5 and RDS to your favourites.
- Check your device's time zone before November 1.
- Order a one-month plan before Saturday so nothing is left to chance.
Is watching the CFL this way legal?
Watching through TSN, RDS and CTV, or their official apps, is clearly legal. For IPTV services, legality depends on licensing; see our legal explainer.
