Accepting these terms

These terms govern your use of waveiptv.ca and the Wave IPTV subscription service. By taking a trial, buying a subscription, or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

They should be read alongside our refund policy, privacy policy, disclaimer and copyright notice, all of which form part of this agreement.

Who can subscribe

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you are subscribing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Your account and credentials

When you subscribe we issue a username, password and portal URL. These are personal to you and to your household.

• Keep them private. You are responsible for anything done using your credentials.
• Do not share, sell, publish or resell them. Reselling requires a separate reseller arrangement — see the reseller page.
• We will never ask you for your password. Anyone who does is not us. Report it to contact@waveiptv.ca.

Tell us immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised and we will reissue them.

Simultaneous streams

A standard subscription plays on one screen at a time. You may install a player app on as many devices as you like; the limit applies to simultaneous playback. Starting a stream on a second device will end the first.

Plans allowing more concurrent screens are set out on the pricing page. Repeatedly exceeding your concurrent limit may result in suspension.

The free trial

We offer a free 24-hour trial of the full service. It is limited to one per household. Taking repeated trials to avoid paying is a breach of these terms and we may decline further trials or refuse service.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and are shown on the pricing page. There is no activation fee, no equipment rental and nothing added at checkout. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before you pay.

We accept Interac e-Transfer and card. Your subscription begins when we issue your credentials, normally within a few minutes of payment and in any event within two hours.

Term and renewal

Your subscription runs for the period you purchased — one month, three months, six months or one year — starting from activation. [ State here whether it expires automatically at the end of the term or renews, and how to cancel. ]

Refunds

Plans of three months or longer may be refunded in full within 7 days of activation. One-month plans are not refundable. Full details, including how to request one, are in the refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, sublicense or redistribute your credentials or the streams they give access to.
• Record, rebroadcast, or publicly perform the service — including in a bar, restaurant, hotel, shop or any commercial premises — without a separate written agreement with us.
• Use automated tools, scripts or bots to access the service, or attempt to scrape the channel list.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe or circumvent any part of the service, its servers or its security.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of anyone's rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account, without refund, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached — in particular credential sharing, redistribution, commercial use without agreement, or repeated substantiated copyright complaints.

Where the breach is minor or looks accidental we will normally contact you first. Where it is deliberate we may act immediately.

You may stop using the service at any time. Ending your use does not entitle you to a refund outside the refund policy.

Third-party apps and devices

The player applications used to view the service are made by independent developers and are not ours. Install them only from your device's official app store or the developer's own site. We are not responsible for their behaviour, updates, availability or terms. See the disclaimer for detail.

Device and platform names used on this site are the trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Content and rights

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable right to access the service for private viewing within your household, for the term you have purchased. It does not transfer ownership of anything, and it ends when your subscription ends.

You may not record, copy, rebroadcast, publicly perform or redistribute any part of the service, and you may not make it available in a commercial setting without a separate written agreement with us. Rights holders who wish to contact us should see the copyright notice.

Changes to the service

Channel line-ups change. Broadcasters add, remove and rename channels, and licensing shifts by region. We may add, remove or change channels and features without notice. A change to the line-up is not by itself grounds for a refund outside the refund policy — if a specific channel is essential to you, confirm it during your trial.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our full disclaimer, including the limitation of liability, is on the disclaimer page and forms part of these terms.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [ PROVINCE ], Canada, and the courts of that province have exclusive jurisdiction. [ This must match the province named in the disclaimer — two legal pages naming different jurisdictions is a gift to anyone in a dispute with you. ]

Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your subscription is the one published on the day you paid. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
